The Hope Centre is a very good, and quick way to get help. The Centre is open between 9.00am – 4.00pm every weekday. We are happy to see anyone who would like to find out more about what we do. You may use our telephone to call our Helpline (01543 676 800) if it is not safe for you to do so at home.
The Centre is also a place where you can meet other survivors. We run a range of groups and training sessions. These range from our Wellbeing Workship all to do with Mental Health and mindfulness, to self-help group where you can find out how domestic abuse varies and how to protect yourself.
Coming to the centre can also put you in touch with other services, such as Risk Reduction support and counselling. We have a lot of help available to you, whether you want to leave your partner or stay with them. We can discuss your choices and support you in your decisions.
One of the most isolating things is the feeling that no one understands what you are going through. We will be happy to give you time to talk to a volunteer or a support worker. There will also be opportunities to attend craft sessions, coffee mornings and other events so that you can meet women in similar situations. We can’t promise to have all of the answers to your problems, but we can promise that we will do all we can to help you find a way of dealing with them. Contact us today and find out if there is a hope and we will help you find it.
