Support Worker at our Tamworth Intensive Support Centre

Our domestic abuse project requires a Support Worker for their Intensive Support Centre in Tamworth.

The post involves working with women and children who have fled domestic abuse and are living in our accommodation – this post  will be a combination of emotional and practical support. Pathway works to empower survivors of domestic abuse in their journey from an unsafe relationship to having the confidence and skills to take back control of their own life.

You will need to demonstrate a knowledge of voluntary and statutory agencies relevant to domestic abuse and have confidence dealing with multi-agency working. You will need to be assertive, committed and positive and able to work in a fast changing environment. The post will include lone and team working. A driving license and access to a car is essential.

The hours are 22.50 per week, Monday, Thursday and Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Occasional flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the service.

The salary is £20,000 per annum pro-rata.

Holiday entitlement is 15 days annually, plus Bank Holidays pro rata.
