Mission Statement
Pathway Project is a Christian organisation, working to support women and their
children, who are experiencing domestic abuse. Pathway aim to provide a high
quality service, meeting the needs of abused women and children, in a caring
environment.

Value Statement
Pathway believes that we should offer a service which is second to none in terms of
care and support. In order that what we offer is the best we can possibly achieve, we
will adhere to the following values. In this way we will be supporting our clients and
offering hope for the future, whilst also helping our staff to develop and build in
confidence.
We will continue to campaign on behalf of women and children, in order that they are
able to gain access to the help and services that they need.
We will maintain an excellent standard of safe, well furnished accommodation,
providing a secure, homely environment in which people can take time to make life
decisions.
We will allow our clients the dignity of making their own decisions, and will
encourage and empower them to develop and express themselves.
We will provide opportunities for clients to discuss their situations, and be treated
with sensitivity, confidentiality and care.
We will provide opportunities for volunteers and staff to develop their skills, to reach
their full potential and to find fulfilment in their personal abilities and gifts.
We will give relevant information, quickly and responsibly, and will maintain our
levels of knowledge in all areas of domestic abuse.
We will share in the experiences, both good and bad, of our clients, and enable them
to grow and develop coping strategies, and to work through their difficulties with
dignity, a sense of self worth, and hope for the future.
