For the last three years Pathway has been campaigning for a Family Justice Centre in Lichfield and Tamworth. This will be a building where a victim of domestic or sexual abuse can find all the services they need to support them, in one place. Sounds so simple we can’t believe it took so long.
Family Justice Centre South East Staffs opened in April 2012 and we have 16 agencies signed up and ready to support the people who need their assisstance. The Centre is a charity in its own right and is autonomous of all agencies. Pathway has led this development and is now ready to stand back and let it fly!

The Centre is attached to Pathway’s Hope Centre, which means that all of our services can be available to the Centre. We are very proud to be part of its development.
The agencies signed up include:
- Staffordshire Police

- Independent Domestic Violence Advocate
- Independent Sexual Violence Advocate
- Victim Support
- Citizens Advice Bureau
- ARCH
- ADSIS
- Tamworth Borough Council

There is still room for any other agency to take part. We have researched the history and growth of Centres across the United States and also in Croydon. Centres have grown enormously in their first year, as more and more agencies have recognised the value and benefits that the Centres bring.
Anyone wishing to find out more, or express an interest in being part of the Centre can contact us by ringing 01543 442 610 or emailing kathycoe3000@hotmail.com.
