Welcome to our new website

Welcome to our new website. We are delighted that the site ‘feels’ like Pathway. It is very important to us that our character is reflected in the site, and that it is easy to navigate and quickly find what you need. Please let us know what you think of it, good or bad. We can only learn from feedback.

Our thanks to Dominic and Studio DM for doing such a brilliant job, for listening to what we needed and how we wanted it to look, and for making it happen.

‘I know that God will not give me anything I can’t handle. I just wish that He didn’t trust me so much’ Mother Theresa (1910 – 97)

Don’t get me wrong. I am not for a second comparing Pathway to the ministry of Mother Theresa. Just that now and then you look at the scale of the job before you, and quake a little at what you have taken on.

We are standing on the edge of a new multi-disciplinary team project, that I believe will change the way that we work with domestic abuse in Lichfield and Tamworth, forever. We are developing something ground breaking and very exciting. If it is to work to it’s best and fullest capacity it may need you.

If you are a professional, and have taken the time to find our website, then I am guessing that at some level your work is affected by domestic abuse. It is well evidenced that by working together with other agencies, interventions are far more likely to be successful.

We will be bringing regular updates about our progress with the Family Justice Centre, but if you want to be a part of it, and influence its development, then please act now. Contact us by calling at the Hope Centre, or e-mailing talk to eve through our website, and we will ensure that you, or your organisation can be part of what we are doing.

This is a huge project, somewhat scary, but very exciting. It will be developed for other areas with a similar community to emulate. We feel certain that this local initiative will have influence nationally, as have Croydon and Derby. If you want to be part of the third FJC contact us now.
